Clark Montessori serves students in grades 7 thru12. The Clark Music Programs serves over 40% of the school's population through involvement by Student-Musicians in 4 Jazz Bands, 6 Steel Bands, a 17 piece Drum Line, and AP Music Theory courses for interested students
Guest artists who have visited, taught, and performed with Clark students include: Ray Holman, Greg Abate, Bootsy Collins,
Wade Baker and Sarah Waters. Clark Music was also honored to have as Artist In Resident, Thelonious Monk III

Clark Student-Musicians reach outside of the classroom throughout the year with performances that include:
Back to School Picnic, Winter School Concert, Spring School Concert, Football Games, Basketball Games, Junior High Performances, Montessori Band Night, Steel Band Benefit Concert, Guest Artist concerts, Foundation Fundraising events, National Night Out and Elder HS Steel Festival among others.

“Stomp Around Town" Students created Stomp like percussion routines and performed around the tristate at Dater Montessori Elementary, Pleasant Ridge Elementary, Sands Montessori, Indiana School for the Blind and Ohio State School for the Blind
Recording and Production
Students learn basic music recording techniques and production processes spending 3 days in the professional Group Effort Recording Studio. Students arrange and rehearse pieces to record as a part of the professional studio experience

Clark is the Only CPS school to have a student selected for a National Honor Band
• 2011 The Clark Jazz band selected
The Channel 12 “Band of the Week” and performed in studio during the broadcast
• Finalist and Winner of the Glee Give A Note grant competition. This grant awarded the program over 25,000.
• 2015 Collaborative Holiday CD titled Wrapped in Blue. Over 300 students were a part of a program wide recording effort
